Caribbean Enterprises was formed by Jennylynd James, PhD, in 2005.

about-portrait.jpgJennylynd James has a long history in the food industry in the Caribbean, USA, and Europe. Jennylynd worked as a Technical Manager at an Irish food company. She is now a manufacturer and distributor of Caribbean food products.

Before moving to Ireland in 2004, Dr. James worked as the Senior Manager of Corporate Quality Assurance at Dole Food Company in Westlake, California, where she established food safety and crisis management programmes for tropical fruit operations based in Latin America. Prior to that, she served as Director of Research & Development and Product Safety at Boskovich Farms, Inc., California.

She received both a BSc in Biochemistry and a PhD in Food Science from McGill University, Canada, and an MSc in Food Technology from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago.
